I know hard to believe we are already thinking about 2023 but I would be doing you all a disservice if I didn’t start talking about the interior design trends you’ll start seeing in the coming months! This is actually one of my favorite things to do is look at the predicted trends. Before we even start looking at them we usually have already started implementing some of the features in our designs! Just call us psychic! You’ll see below some new upcoming projects that area getting ready to break ground, and how these trends have all been used!
Here are my top 3 favorite design trends for 2023!
Earthy Colors
Darker shades of beige are in fashion. Darker shades of wood are making their comeback, and colors that exist in nature. Lighter shades will be more widespread in the coming year. Be prepared to start seeing the “vanilla latte” colors on the cabinets instead of the harsh white. It brings us back to those warmer earthy color tones. Im so excited for this, and bring me all the warm more moody vibes!
Textured walls
Lime wash, plaster, and wood are just 3 of the big textures on walls you’ll see making a landing. And I am here for IT ALL! This is such a subtle but powerful way to add some textures to a space without it being harsh or overwhelming. It is also great for all you DIYers! Plaster hoods and fireplaces, lime wash bathroom walls, wood entry walls, even ceilings! Bring it all to me!
Multi Material Kitchens
Two toned kitchens have been a thing for a while but you’ll start to see this with more of a contrast in 2023. More warm cabinet colors paired with more rich wood tones. You will see mixed materials such as wood, stone, ceramic, plaster, etc. It’s all about the textures in 2023, but RRI has been all about the textures since 2020! The end result certainly will be visually pleasing!
